Legacy Award

Last week, Candace MacKinnon, Executive Director & Brooke Sampson, Director, had the honour of attending the Association of Early Childhood Educators of NS Awards Gala, where many ECEs and programs were recognized and celebrated.

The Edward Jost Legacy Award recognizes the efforts and dedication of its nominees in Nova Scotia that have provided services to children and families in their communities and works hard to improve the Nova Scotia Child Care Sector.

This year’s recipient is Janessa Williams, Executive Director of Needham Early Learning Centre. Janessa’s commitment to advocacy has strengthened our sector and given a louder voice to those who work tirelessly, day in and day out, for our youngest learners.
