Earth Day!

Classrooms at the Herring Cove location participated in some Earth Day activities!

The Lambs went outside to paint with recycled materials, the Turtles went on a walk around our community and collected items to make natural paint brushes, the Dolphins made an earth with paint in a bag and the Shark room made an earth by spraying watercolours onto a coffee filter!

There were many great ideas and discussions while doing their Earth Day activities and some of the children mentioned ways to save the Earth were turning lights off when they don’t have to be on, cleaning up their garbage and drinking water out of reusable bottles to limit waste!
