Rainy Day Adventures

The rain doesn’t stop us from having an adventure!

This morning, the Shark classroom from the HCR location hopped on a Halifax Transit bus to the Captain William Spry Centre. Since they’ll be taking a few bus trips this summer, they wanted to start practicing beforehand!

They followed the trail back to the centre, where they explored the Urban Farm and had the pleasure of spotting a beaver! They also discovered plenty of insects, including worms.

The outdoor environment serves as an extension of our classrooms, and we are so fortunate to be part of a community with so much to offer and explore!
