Join us for the Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids on Sunday, June 8th at 9:30 AM at the Halifax Common!
We are excited to participate in the Halifax Walk for Kids to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® Atlantic, supporting sick children and their families during their medical journey at the IWK Health Centre. Many Edward Jost families have benefited from the care and comfort provided by Ronald McDonald House and the IWK, and we want to show our gratitude by taking part in this meaningful event.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® Atlantic helps families stay together and close to the medical care their children need. Their programs include Ronald McDonald House, a “home-away-from-home” for out-of-town families with sick children, and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, offering a calm and supportive space within the hospital. Thanks to generous donations and fundraisers like Walk for Kids and McHappy Day, Ronald McDonald House Atlantic has recently expanded, now serving 36 families and offering a variety of activity rooms! The Walk for Kids event is a family-friendly day filled with fun activities, including:
