Today’s spotlight is on Shauntay Grant and her book When I Wrap My Hair.

When I Wrap My Hair is written with lyrical text. This story pays homage to the bonding experience, memories, and the stories that are passed through generations when wrapping their hair.

Shauntay Grant is a Halifax-born author. Her other children’s books include Africville, Up Home, My Fade Is Fresh, and Apples And Butterflies.
