Today's Black History Month Spotlight

Today we are shining a spotlight on Halifax—born artist, Letitia Fraser

Letitia Fraser is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus in painting and textile. Her artwork has been featured in exhibits at the Black Cultural Centre of Nova Scotia, the Freedom Festival Art Exhibit, in magazines and books, and has received various awards.


Letitia's paintings often feature children, drawing inspiration from both personal family memories and the historical significance of quilting within her community. The result is a body of work that exudes warmth, depth, and cultural richness.
